Two things. One, delete "is" in that sentence. Two, I didn't mean to dump on you. I just said what I was thinking.I keep asking these questions is because I want to help myself read complex writing more easily in the future.
Context should always be helpful. The more practice you get the better you should get at understanding things based on the context in which they appear. Indeed, outside of context what does any sentence really mean? (Nothing.)
