Hi there.

I just read a sentence in Interchange 1 (It's a book).

The sentence was about vacations. I've quoted it below:

We took a plane to a boat to a bus to get to the park.

What does this sentence exactly mean?

I think they got a plan and then got a boat and then got a bus and finally they arrived to that park?! Am I right?!

Please explain it.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Sentence

Yes, that's right.

You have several careless misspellings. (If you can spell 'plane' properly once, you should be able to do it again. Also, 'quote, below')
"I just read a sentence on Interchange 1 (It's a book)."
If it's a book, you read it in Interchange 1.

Yes, they first took a plane, got off the plane and onto a boat, then got off the boat to finally take a bus to the park.

Re: Sentence

"... they arrived at the park", not "... they arrived to the park".

We don't use "to" after "arrive" in this context.

He arrived at the park.
He got to the park.
He made it to the park.
