Please could I ask what 'at some point' mean in the sentence below? At some point in time? or could it mean 'in some respect'?

I'm hoping he'll have more positive opinions at some point.

Because time is always moving, 'at some point in time' can't be said to be completely wrong. But 'at some point' could relate to some other aspect not mainly concerning time. 'at some point' may relate to other things such as regulatory approval, progress or cost.

While I am not very happy with what I wrote, I hope that I was somewhat successful in showing that 'at some point' need not necessarily be mainly related to time.
