Hi
I read an article about a recent increase in profits of the Ford company and there was some setence which I don't understand well.
Ford got its groove back after racking up billions in losses when the SUV boom went bust.
I looked it up in the dictionary and found only 2 meanings
First, a kind of rhythm
second, a deep line cut into a surface.
Both of two meanings really do not make sense here.
I guess 'get groove back' means returning something that used to be something originally ? in the past?
I don;t know..
What does groove mean here? and
How to usually use this expression 'get its groove back' ?
Thanks
