what does the abbr. of CAW mean here?

i am watching a detective show,and there is sth i can't get it
A-Where's Khokar? B-He's disappeared
A-Put a CAW out on him. B-I already have
A,B and Khokar are all policemen,and K has done sth dirty, i don't know the meaning of CAW,who can give me a clue,wating for ur answer,thanks:)

The only clue to this acronym I can find on any site relating to the Indian police (I assume this is an Indian show?) is "Crimes Against Women". I'm not sure that makes any sense though.

well,i also found this abbr. CRIMES AGAINST WOMEN,but i don't think it make sense,ps,this is an uk tv series:)
 
If it's a UK TV series, then it won't be that. How strange. I've looked on the list of all police abbreviations in the UK and it doesn't appear. Do they definitely say the 3 letters, not a word that sounds like it's spelt "caw"?

Good suggestion. "Put a call out on him" could well mean "Alert all other police officers that he has disappeared and that they should look out for him".
