Please check.

When I took my driving test I was so absent-minded that I couldn't even recognize myself. Of course this influenced on me badly and finally I hadn't passed/didn't pass.

Which is correct "hadn't passed" or "didn't pass"?

"Didn't pass" and you need to remove "on" after "influenced".

It influenced me a lot.
It had a huge influence on me.

On what principle or set of rules would you choose the past perfect here, el77?
There are circumstances in which "hadn't passed" could be easily justified with a few changes to your scenario.
