Let's say there's a piece of writing on the wall of a building. When I want to describe that what verb can I use?

The walls of the building were painted with murals of the company's mangers and...with slogans about the importance of hard work.

What verb can I use to fill in the blank?

If they're a bit messy, you could use "daubed". If they weren't put there officially, you could use "graffitied".

What if they are not messy and they are official?

You could use 'emblazoned', but that usually signifies some degree of being particularly bold or showy.
