Hi, my teachers, your help is needed here again!
Not breathing _________ through my nose at that time, I used to wake up at night with my mouth and throat as dry as paper.
A. freely B. obviously C. frequently D. entirely
The reference answer is B. I just can't make sense of the choice.
Which one is fit for the blank?
Thank you!

If the book gives B, then it is wrong. Which other answer do you think is correct and why?

I think A is the best answer. It means I can't breathe freely because my nose is stuffy. I need your understanding. You have a better sense of English than I.
Dear teachers!
Thank you!

I would choose A too. "To breathe freely" is a recognised description of being able to breathe without any obstruction or constriction.
