Which sentence(gets over vs gives over) is correct?

My office gives over at 6:30 pm.

or

My office gets over at 6:30 pm.

Neither is correct. Are you trying to say that your office closes at 6.30 pm?

Really !! have you never heard this sentence? Generally it is said that "School gives over at" so I tried to use it for office. As far as "Close at" is concerned I think it is more suited for shop not for office.

Actually office remains open but my department is supposed to work till 6:30 pm and one of the root meaning of over is "finishes".

I have never heard "school gives over at".

I wonder if "give over" is used in Indian English to mean "finish."
