I am so tired of some people on this forum who apparently have a limited knowledge of English language and try to help others.I really do not need such kind of help.
So please do not correct my post in the future and let some native English speaker help me.
Dear Bassin,
In my opinion, you should start your posts, addressing native speakers directly. It doesn´t sound very nice, but at least we, the non-native ones, will refrain from
commenting or doing our best to help you.

The spirit of the forum is that all members are welcome to comment on questions asked by other members providing these rules are followed: "You are welcome to answer questions posted in the Ask a Teacher forum as long as your suggestions, help, and advice reflect a good understanding of the English language. If you are not a teacher, you will need to state that clearly at the top of your post. Please note, all posts are moderated by our in-house language experts, so make sure your suggestions, help, and advice house the kind of information an international language teacher would offer. If not, and your posts do not contribute to the topic in a positive way, they will be subject to deletion."
In my opinion Tedtmc's posts on this thread comply with all of the above.

This is unbelievable. I have posted at least10 posts in the editing forum before, which nobody of you wanted to correct, I have written so many short stories and posted it and waited to see if anyone would help me and felt like an idiot. And now suddenly, there are so many of you who appear on this post.I am just wondering why were your not so eager to help me with my short stories in the previous months?

Those of us who respond to questions do so in our free time. We do this for a number of reasons. Personally, I love the English language, I love learning about it, and I enjoy helping others improve their command of English if I can.

I am not particularly good at editing and, frankily, I find it boring; so, I don' t go into that forum very often. It appears that not many others go there, either; so, many requests for editing help go unanswered. That's life. It's not as though you are paying a fee, and feel you have a right to service.

With a service that is run by volunteers, I feel, frankly, that it is not very couth to demand that only certain people deal with your requests, or to complain if there is nobody around to deal with your requests. This is a hobby for all of us. We share our interests with like-minded people - if there happen to be any around.

If you don't like it as it is, there is no obligation to stay.

I am not so ignorant that I do not know that this forum is run volunteers.I am only surprised that some of you now spend so much energy on this single post when I have posted dozens texts in Editing forum before and none of you ever tried to help me.

You are so fussy and you still wonder why people won't help you. I would gladly try to help you but, unfortunately, I have no Ph. D. in English and I may not be able to meet your expectations.

As I mentioned it my last post, many of us don't go into the editing forum. Simple. Why should it surprise you that I do not attempt to do something I don't enjoy, and that I'm not good at? I am happy and moderately capable at answering questions on grammar, and that's what I do.

I occasionally respond to people who appear not to understand the spirit of this forum. Does it surprise you that I have a word or two to say when you suggest that we are bullying you and that we are arrogant, and iwhen you imply that people in the west behave in an unacceptable way?

However, I'm bored now, so I'll leave you to it.
