You look tired.
a.I couldn't sleep although I was very tired.
b.I couldn't sleep despite I was very tired.
c.I couldn't sleep despite of being very tired.
d.I couldn't sleep in spite of being very tired.

Whis is correct?

You try first.

b and c require the same fix to be correct. Do you want to try to fix those as well so you can learn from the excercise?

We know you're not a teacher, you don't have to state that. C is not correct, read Barb_D's response. Try to fix it and you'll learn something in the process.

what are the clear differences among although, inspite and despite

[STRIKE]w[/STRIKE]What are the clear differences [STRIKE]among[/STRIKE]between 'although',#'in#spite' and 'despite'?
Please bear in mind:

Begin your sentences with a capital letter.
End your sentences with an appropriate punctuation mark.
# Leave a space after a punctuation mark.
'In spite' - two words.

Have you tried looking up these words in one of the dictionaries here? Many of them give example sentences showing the word in use.

And yes, we look tired; some of us are starting to get tired of your posting questions and giving us random "choices" of the correct answer.
