Hi teachers,
I know, meat of cow called "beef", meat of pig called pork and I know chicken. But What the name would be the meat of goat?

In British English, we simply call it 'goat'. In other parts of world, it may be called 'mutton', a word we use in BrE only for sheep meat.

Yes. Also one of my alien friend told me that it is called as "goat meat".

He sounds like something from outer space. If your friend is not from your country, we'd normally say which country he came from - One of my American.British/Indian friends ...

Oh I am sorry. Then I should have said "one of my vietnamese friends". Thanks for pointing out my mistake.

No problem. 'Alien' in the sense of a person from another country is a perfectly acceptable word in legal contexts, but we rarely use it in everyday language.

It is called goat meat/goat in the US also.

In another forum, chevon and cabrito are given as alternatives, though not recommended.

(It's worth reading post 4 in that thread, and its follow-up in post 9, which I'm still laughing about.)
