Are the following sentences grammatically correct?

"At Mark's house, Steven, Mark and Rose were reunited in a dark room. Only a few murmurs were heard between Mark and Steven, while Rose tried to understand why they had called her for a project that seemed to be finished. The multimedia projector twas turned on and it began to show images that would answer the questions of Rose."
