Hallo. Can we use "would" to show typical behaviour?

But not in the meaning of "used to".

For example:

I would usually go for a walk in the evening.

(Can i just say: I usually go for a walk in the evening?) Does it mean the same?

Thanks in advance, Mike

"Would" in your first sentence expresses a past habit. If you remove it, it implies you still go for an occasional walk in the evening.

But the question is still the same.:) Is it possible to use "would" to show typical behaviour?

Would normally indicates willingness rather than typical behavior. The term "usually" is used to indicate typical behavior. One way to look at it would be to replace "usually" with "would" and see if the meaning of the sentence remains the same.

"I usually eat dinner at 6 pm." is different than "I would eat dinner at 6 pm."

"Would" can be used to talk about something you did habitually in the past. "When we lived by the sea I would walk on the beach every morning" for example.
