Dear teachers,

How do you distinguish the usage between entitled and titled?
Here are my example sentences. Which is the best?

1. I was reading a book entitled "ABC for beginning English learner"
2. I was reading a book titled "ABC for beginning English learner"

Sentence #1 is incorrect. "Entitle" is the action of giving a title or honor to something.

example: The author entitled his book "ABC for beginning English learner".
