"get", "got" instead of "be", "was"

Hello,
I would like to know if we can use get and got in these sentences, and if they are grammatically seen even with the other versions.
My bag got stolen last year.
My bag was stolen last year.

We are getting defeated.
We are being defeated.

Yes, they are correct. get is used with a past participle following it to form the passive voice similar to verb ‘to be’.

IMHO, The 2nd version of each sentence is preferred though the lst is also correct.
