What is used with "give importance" to or for? When I looked up dictionary both are possible.

...who give importance to themselves and to their health.

Is it correct and can I use here for instead of to?

Thanks in advance :)

NOT A TEACHER.

"To" is correct; "for" is not. I've never heard anyone say "Give importance." The expression you're looking for is probably "attach importance to something."
