It appears that both challenge and stock are nouns here. Google search doesn't offer me the clue of what is "challenge stock". What does it mean? Does it mean "challenging stock" (extremly large amount of products in stock)?

I Googled gmp challenge stock, and there were several links. Apparently, stock means virus supply. A virus used in part of the trials is call a challenge stock.
