Who usually pronounces these words:"I enjoy teaching English."? Teachers? yes, you are right. While teaching we learn a lot of new things. That's why I want to add one more word to this thread:

I enjoy teaching and learning English.
What do you think?
Hmmm, I think you added two more words and not just one, Harry!;-)

Do you consider being an on-line tutor the same as being a teacher, Harry?
For I am one, I'm not a licensed teacher though.

I know you are a teacher. I read about it in one of your posts. If not, correct me. How do you enjoy teaching? Is teaching English only a job for you?

As I mentioned in my previous posts, I'm an on-line tutor. It's more of teaching basic English. That's why I still need to learn more about English here in this site. And since it's about English, teaching this would be to me an "paying hobby" for me.

I hope it's the same with you.

I'm not only teaching on-line. I work in one of schools of Moscow where I teach my own programme. Also I'm giving private lessons to earn my living.

Wow, that's a lot of work to do. You're a licensed English teacher, aren't you? apparently, the answer here is 'yes'. I'm thinking of studying Education next year, to fulfill one of my childhood dreams perhaps...:-D

Harry, if you don't mind me asking. How do you do your on-line teaching?

Sorry for having kept you waiting. I haven't been on-line since August 14.
I am just teaching them with my own programme.

As has been said, I think that you actually don't need to travel to an English-speaking country to learn it well. You can do it right where you are. If you have no one to talk to, you always have yourself.

I remember once many years ago when I had no one to talk to I used to talk to myself in order to practice English. It was the period of Cold War in the Soviet Union.

I've always talked to myself. It's really a good idea to learn.
