i wanna know the meaning of below sentence

" All i need is for some jerk to catch me carrying this book around and get wrong idea"

First, try to capitalize the letter "i" (I)
It says ,,,, some idiot might misinterpret why we are carrying the book.

I'm not a teacher.

In addition, please use proper words here, like "want to" not "wanna"

The book belongs to the speaker.
One paraphrase would be "I'm afraid this jerk will not understand who I am if he sees me carrying around this book." But this is much less in character, colloquial, than the original.
The idiot or jerk is not carrying the book. The idiot or jerk is just seeing the guy (catching view of him) carrying his own book.
"...catch me carrying this book" means to catch sight of me while I am carrying the book....
