What is the difference between "I will return and I will have returned"?

I have moved your post to its own thread and given it an appropriate title.
Put them into sentences. It's necessary to see them in the context in which you want to use them.

I can make sentences with "I will return" because I know it's meaning. For example: I will return as soon as possible. But I do not know what the other (I will have returned) means so I am unable to put it in a sentence.

'I will have returned from Kitzbuhel before you get the postcard I sent you.'

It's often used, as in Rover's example, with a time limit. If you say, I will have returned by 3 o'clock, it could be any time up to 3.If you say I will return at 3 o'clock, 3 is the only time.

You used the wrong version of "its" here. No apostrophe was required. "It's" is the contraction of "It is". You needed the possessive "its".

I got it. Normally it goes with "before". Doesn't it? Also the meaning is slightly different. I feel it.
