If-sentence in combination with Sequence of Tenses

Hello,
These two sentences are said:
If Lisa comes, I will go home.
And if Tina comes, everybody will go home.


Now these two sentences get reported:
He said (that) if Lisa came, he would go home.
And if Tina comes, everybody will go home.

Now my questions:
Is it smart to change the conditional type from I to II in order not to mix the tenses?
Can sentence 2 stay as it is?
Although it belongs to sentence 1, it's a separate sentence.

I wouldn't make two sentences, it would be better like this,
"He said (that) if Lisa came he would go home, and if Tina were to come, everybody would go home."
