I have brought very tricky sentences for me not to easily analyze, so I seriously need your help.

1. Including me, 5 men like you.

2. 5 men, including me, like you

3. 5 men including me like you.

I think the meaning of #1, 2 is the same but the meaning of #3 is kind of different because "5 men including me" implies there is another group of men not including me.

If the way I understood this is wrong, I will fall into confusion again, so I really need your help with some explanations.

Come to think of it...The meaning of all is the same. Could you just tell me any opinions anytime.:)

#3 doesn't work for me grammatically.
I agree that #1 and #2 mean the same thing.

If you want to say something along the lines of what you thought #3 meant, you'd have to use more words. One way to say this could be I am part of a group of five men who like you. (I don't know the feelings of the other men who will be voting.)

As a matter of style, when a number starts a sentence, write it out. Five men, including me, like you. Also as a matter of style, numbers under ten are often written out as well, even when they don't start the sentence.

I forgot to say "thank you". I totally agree with you now.:) Thanks again.
