Hi?

This Awards Ceremony (is held every year [STRIKE]/ have held every year).[/STRIKE]

Why can't i use 'have held'?

Because it's Passive Voice. A ceremony can't hold itself, it needs to be held.

Oh, right. Thanks. Then can i use 'have been held'?

Please note, mokbon, that englishhobby said "has been held" would be correct, not "have been held". Please remember to capitalise the personal pronoun "I".

my mistake again:) thanks to englislhmyhobby and bhalsahab for correcting it. i always have to remind it of me.
