I’ve watched a few episodes of a TV show recently and impressed by one of the characters. I know his real name but I also noticed that people were keeping calling him “KC” in the comments. I wanted to know in what show this KC the actor played, so I asked a group of friends who like HongKong TV shows.

Is there anyone who knows which TV show has KC this character? I've been looking for a while but can't find it.

Is my sentence natural?

I don't understand. If you watched an episode with KC in it, why are you asking others what show you watched?

Regardless, you need to flip the order of 'KC' and 'this' in your sentence.

Why not just post in the comment section of the show you watched and ask the name of the show?
"Does anybody know the name of this show?" or "Does anybody know what show this is?"

If you're asking people who wouldn't know what video you're talking about, then a more natural version would be "Does anybody know what show has a character called 'KC' ?"

I believe he is saying that people are referring to an actor in one show by his character's name on another show. Like seeing Bryan Cranston in Seinfeld and calling him Walter White.

"Which show has the character 'KC?'"

I guess this is about actress Katrina Charlotte Carretta Scott "KC" Cooper. And that's the least important thing in our Chinese colleague's question. He probably means whether the quoted sentence is natural. But the answer to this question, I hope, we will get from teachers.

Are you talking about the actor or the fictitious character?

MIght it be Casey rather fhan KC?

I'm sorry for not making myself clear. The character's real name is Ou Sui Wei in Cantonese and the character he played in the show I watched is a police officer called Mr. Zhang. I saw many people calling him KC each time when he showed up in the screen in the comments. So I wanted to know which show was KC from.

Are you talking about the actor or the fictitious character?
Like Dave said in #2, yes, and I explained a bit above.

I wonder if this sentence is natural now.

Does anybody know what show has the KC character in it ? I've been looking for a while but can't find it.

I still don't understand. If you're asking about another show, then surely the character's name would not be the same.

Since you have so much information, use as much of it as you can in your question.

Does anybody know in which show Ou Sui Wei played a character called "KC"?

Right. Let me put it this way. I was watching the show called POTT. The actor who played the police officer Zhang impressed me. His real name is Au Sui Wai (Jimmy). When I was watching the show (TV series, more specifically), I noticed in the comments section, people are calling him KC. Since his name in the show is "Zhang". So I was wondering if anybody could tell me in what show does Au Sui wai play.

Since you have so much information, use as much of it as you can in your question.

Does anybody know in which show Ou Sui Wei played a character called "KC"?
Much appreciated. I wonder if the second sentence (in italics) is natural too. Or do I need to start a new thread?

Don't confuse actors with characters.
I surely won't. Actors are those who acting in a film or show while characters are the people who they play.

Does anybody know in which show Au Sui Wai played* a character called "KC"? I've been looking for a while but can't find it.
*: Use "plays" if the show is still going.
I surely won't. Actors are those who real people acting in a film or show, while characters are the fictitious people (who) they play.
See above.

*: Use "plays" if the show is still going.
He is still playing.

Does anybody know in which show Au Sui Wai plays a character called "KC"? I've been looking for a while but can't find it.

I think the italic sentence isn't grammatical because it seems that I need to say "looking for something" instead of "looking for". Not sure why you didn't tell me. :(
