Are the words know and notice the same,

The first syllable has the same pronunciation as the word "no".

The initial "k" in "know" ceased to be sounded in the transition from Middle to Early Modern (Shakespearean) English.

Are the words "know" and "notice" the same?
Of course not. They are completely different words with completely different meanings. In addition, they are spelled differently, and one has one syllable and the other has two syllables. In what way do you think they could possibly be the same?

As you posted this in Pronunciation and Phonetics, I suspect you meant to ask the following:

Is the "no" in "notice" pronounced the same as the word "know"?

@Gamestop Why don't you know how to pronounce two basic words in your own native language?
