Sorry, we can't do your homework for you. The tone and the point of the essay was fairly obvious from just a cursory read. A "summary" means a condensed version of the text provided. Read the essay and then think of it in terms of how you'd describe it to a friend. You would just mention the major points of the essay, and leave out irrelevant information.
