Dear teachers.

As far as I know I can use present simple for the future - especially for something scheduled.

However would the following sentences be correct as well? (with the future meaning)

- Next match is played on Sunday.

- The first match is played tomorrow.

- The box is delivered tomorrow.

Thank you very much for your help.

Dominik

- The next match is on Sunday.

- The first match is tomorrow.

- The (box) delivery is tomorrow.

Thank you for giving me other opportunities to say this.

Could tell me whether my sentenced are utter nonsense?

They are unnatural.

While not strictly correct, all three of your sentences would be understood.
