Subject+Verb+Complement+Modifier

I couldn't identify them in the following sentences

1. I am too tired.
2. She is a teacher.
3. I'm just going to make it.

Is this a homework assignment?

No, it is not.

1. "I" is a subject. "am" is a verb. Is "too tired" a complement?

Yes. "Tired" is a predicate adjective that describes the subject. "Too" is an adverb modifying the adjective. Together "too tired" is the complement of the linking verb "am".

2. "She" - subject. "is" - verb. "a teacher" is complement.
3. "I" - subject. "am just going" - verb. "to make it" - complement.

Correct?

2. "She" - subject. "is" - verb. "a teacher" is complement.
3. "I" - subject. "am just going" - verb. "to make it" - complement.

Correct?

2. Yes. In this sentence, "a teacher" is a predicate nominative (noun) which restates the subject.

3. This is a but more complicated. The verb is "am going". "Just" is an adverb modifying the verb.
"To make it" is an infinitive phrase that acts as the complement of the verb.

How about the followings

1. John told Mary to close the door.
2. Lucie feels bad about her grades.
3. She dances much more artistically than her predecessor.

1. "John"-subject, "told"-verb, "Mary to close the door"-complement.
2. "Lucie"-subject, "feels"-verb, "bad about her grades"-complement.
3. "She"-subject, "dances"-verb, "much more artistically than her predecessor"-modifier.
