I don't know which one is correct. Do they make any sense?

I have heard "ownself" a few times but I don't like it at all so I wouldn't use your first sentence. I would say simply "Judge yourself first".
 
:up: (It's possible that ownself derives from a misreading of oneself [/wʌnself/, not /əʊnself/] in some cases; sometimes though it should be two words - as in the traditional saying 'To thine own self be true'.)
