The difference, apparently, is based on whether you are American or British.

American English - ON
British English- AT, although 'on' is starting to be used here. ;-)

i live in US so it's definitely true that people here would say "on" the weekend"
"at" a location as in "at school" "at church"

I'm an Englishman. I always use 'at'.

I choose "Either" because in AME it's "on" and in BrE "At"
 
So teachers, what is the answer?
