[General] provide convenience?

I'm eager to know whether the sentence "Cellphones provide convenience to us" is correct. Thank you. I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused hereby. Very sincerely.

It's OK/understandable, but "...a convenience to/for us" or "are a convenience for us" would also work.
