Not a teacher. The first sentence is correct to me. Do you mean that this particular person is attractive all day long, but at night she is at her prettiest? --> Yes
Then use the first sentence.
I would only use "the prettiest" if she was being compared to other people. "She is the prettiest of the girls in the rooms."
