Would you please tell me what is the meaning of this short paragraph? It is taking about validation.

" that whole self love thing, people kind of laugh at it. And they're like, Oh, that's so hockey"

Two sentences don't really constitute a paragraph, even a short paragraph.

Are you sure it said "hockey", not "hokey"?

Maybe self-love is a Canadian thing. We certainly love hockey. 😀

Please make sure you take note of our corrections. You spelt "hokey" wrong again!

The woman is saying that people make fun of the idea of self-love. They say things like "Oh, that's so hokey!" (The definition of "hokey" above should help with that last exclamation.)
