2. The first I do in the morning is to wake up.

I heard people say both way.

I think the sentence should be written in this way "If I go to sleep and don't die, the first thing I do (in the mornings) is to wake up."

Posts 2 and 3 have given you the answer. You say "The first thing I do is wake up."
Why are you telling us they mean the same? By themselves, they don't mean anything.

Here are some examples of using 'to' or not:
"What I do in the mornings is wake up."
"What I like to do in the morning is to wake up." You can see that the structures on the two sides of 'is' are parallel. However, you could use "is wake up" here too. To me, it's a stylistic issue. But your original sentence 2 doesn't sound right, which is confirmed by all the Likes in post 3.
