Hello,
I would like to create a personal website and I would like to greet the visitor with the following text:
"Hello. Nice to Meet You!"
It will be a heading to be more precise and the largest one that will appear when the visitors enters the page.
The dictionary gives the following definitions for "Nice to meet you:
An expression said just after being introduced to someone.
A polite phrase used when meeting someone for the first time.
The problem is that I never met the user before and I didn't give out my name.
I'm wondering what is your opinion in this case. if "Hello. Nice to Meet You!" can be used as a caption in the online medium.
Maybe usage rules aren't as strict for online usage?
