[Grammar] the use of "provide"

Hello!
Are these sentences correct?

1)Thank you for providing me with useful information.
2)Thank you for providing useful information for me.
3)Thank you for the information you provided.
4)I was provided with useful information.
5)Useful information was provided for me.
6)This is the information I was provided with.
7)This is the information I was provided.8)This is the information which was provided for me.
 
...although all instances of 'for' could be replaced by 'to', with a slightly different meaning.
If I supply information to you, I give you the information directly.
If I supply information for you, I might leave it somewhere, or give it to someone else to give to you.
 
I would drop the ending "with" in #6.
 
How about this? Which one is better?

1. Thank you for the information you provided.
2.
Thank you for the information provided.

They are both equally fine.
