Hi, teachers, I wrote these sentences. I want to explain why 'other' is unimportant. Are they correct, especially the tense 'would have told'?
The category 'other' is not important. Otherwise they would have told you what exactly those other modes of transport are.

It's grammatical, but your sentence order didn't make sense. It wasn't clear which sentences you were referring to. To fix it, I combined the first two, added a colon, italicized the sentences you're asking about, and moved your question to the end. Do you see why it's clearer this way?

And the sentences do not explain why the other modes aren't important. It just says they're not.

Bonus question: The attachment has one very big vocabulary error. Do you see it?
