People will tell you that they learned in school that "none" is short for "not one" and therefore requires the singular. Don't believe them. See this as one example that says why.

However, don't forget to start with a capital letter.

Permission isn't countable, but you don't "take" permission. You can have permission or be given or granted permission, but you can't take it.

I haven't been given permission to tell you. Do you have your mother's permission to be up so late?

But I was just wondering that how to decide if a word can't be taken or not. Do you a list of words like permission that can be used with only have.
