When or how to use though at the end of a sentence? Is there any different between though and however?

I'm confused when using word "though" (the meaning, using). Sometimes, It's at the beginning, middle or the end of a sentence.
Example:
- We could try to phone her before we go, though we might miss the train if we do. Correct.
- What does remain, though, is a very distinct lime scent. Correct (note commas and no need for capital "l" on "lime".)
- I’m sorry, I can’t stay for lunch. I’ll have a coffee, though. Correct.
- What a lovely sunny day! There’s a chilly wind, though, isn’t there? Correct.
