Hello, Great Teachers!
Please help me out please.
In the next sentence, which verb is correct?
The vast majority of wildlife live or lives outside parks.

I think lives is correct.

Re: subject verb agreement

Someone would argue that the very subject of the sentence is the majority, which is true but for the sake of style, I'd personally say: The majority of wildlife lives outside parks. This way you keep the verb form in parallel with the form of the noun wildlife, which is singular.
