Hi, there.
Here are a couple of lines where those nouns are used:
1. A large branch broken by the wind lay accross our path.
2. Windows let in light and air.
Why the is used along with wind? May I suppose that because there is only one wind in the world?
Why light and air doesn't have an article? Are we still speaking about uniqueness of light and air throughout the world?
Thank you for you reply.

Yes, this is the underlying assumption in this sentence. We often make it, but not always. Sometimes we need to distinguish between different winds. Not in this case though.
Why light and air doesn't have an article? Are we still speaking about uniqueness of light and air throught the world?

This sentence doesn't contain the assumption of their uniqueness. It treats light and air as categories.
