Dear Friends,
Is 'as' necessary in the following:
A car is considererd as? a vehicle.
Thank you.
Csika
I would say: "Consider it done".What about when somebody tells me to do something and I answer him:
Consider it as done!
Consider it's done!
Consider as it's done!
Am I right or there are other options?
Thank you in advance.
I would say: "Consider it done".
They wouldn't be said by a (British) native speaker.Thank you!
My variations are wrong then?
Hi Barb_D,
I was only interested to know whether we use 'as' with 'consider'. I know that my car-example is not the best one, though.
To make things clear:
A is considered B - fine
A is considered to be B - fine
A is considered as B - wrong
Am I right?
Csika
