This is an entry from my diary. Please check it and correct any mistakes.

My dad sometimes has bad mood and he would take it out on random callers, especially for scam calls. He would lecture them on their lousy fraud and tell them do something good and ambitious. For real estate advertisers, he would pretend that he has a lot of money and asks them why he needs to buy their crappy apartments.

I probably wouldn't use "advertisers" there, but nothing better comes to mind.

I wouldn't call that "taking it out on callers". They are unwelcomed callers trying to scam or sell something. You dad mocked at them.

He mocked them.
He put them in their place.
