If your teacher wants you to 'prove' the existence of the word 'joyous', you should have given him/her a dictionary. It is likely to have it's own entry. If that fails, you can use the following:

BNC Simple Search

There is a list of examples from the British corpus of 'joyous'. Also if you would like to find examples from the American corpus, go to this website:

Corpus of Contemporary American English (COCA)

Click 'enter' then search for 'joyous' in the search box at the left. It comes up with hundreds of examples that you can use.

Regarding the adjective of 'oppress' - 'oppressed' and 'oppressable' are adjectives from this word, but meaning different things. 'oppressed' is someone who is oppressed. 'oppressable' is someone who is able to be oppressed.

 ... and 'oppressed' can also be a noun, usually (always?) preceded by 'the'. 'The oppressed' are people have been or are being oppressed.

Yes, joyous exists and is a mighty word! When in doubt, I'd go with Bhaisahab any day.

'Oppressive' is another adjective from 'oppress'.

Do you see the irony of wanting to show your teacher that 'joy' can have at least two adjectives, but then asking whether "oppressed" is the adj of "oppression?

As you asked me specifically for help, I will say that I agree with the other posters. As for the adjective/irony question I'll leave that to Raymott.

Better:
.
Say: "What is the adjectival form of "joy"?
.
An adjective of "joy" would be any adjective modifying "joy". As for "the" adjective of "oppression", that depends on viewpoint. An oppressed people would be a people suffering from oppression. An oppressive government would be a government that is oppressing its people.

"Product" is not a verb, it's a noun. "To produce" is a verb the simple past and past participle of which is "produced". "Mass-produced" is an adjective.

No, you don't have to write mass-produced.
'Produced' is an adjective from 'produce'.
So is 'productive'.

What exactly do you want to describe with this adjective?

I don't want to describe anything, just in our English test, our teacher gave us some words, and we find their adjectives.. like "product" ..I answered "produced", but she didn't accept it .. also didn't accept "joyous"...

I'm not sure I understand your question.
"So is productive" means "Productive is also an adjective from produce/product."
