Thomas and I are supposed to meet each other in the mountains but he and his family still hasn't decided when to go there while I am very likely to go there next week. So, in case we can't see each other in the mountains, I provided plan B for him:

If we can't meet up in the mountains, let's do it in Chongqing*.

Is my italic sentence natural?

*The mountain where we will be meeting up is 2.5 hour car ride from Chongqing.
